You might wonder, what is it really like to be at First Baptist Watauga? We like to answer that question by saying that we are a family on mission. As a family, we greet everyone who visits us without offering shame, guilt, or condemnation. We do not consider how you’re dressed or who you voted for. After all, church is always made up of imperfect people worshiping a perfect God.

We are a church who won’t shy away from your questions about God and faith. As a family on mission, we love your questions and meet them with love and grace. We make it a goal to grow together by diving deeper into God’s Word and asking good questions. We also seek to serve the community together and share the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone we encounter.

Here we are called to Exalt the Savior, Equip the Church, and Evangelize the Lost, all by the power of His Holy Spirit and the guidance of His Word.
